beautiful

As the quotes says, other rates our self as how we feel about our self.So if we want other to rates us as beauty , confident , chic ,sexy and so on we first must really feel that way . Don`t expect other to say that you are pretty when you feel that you are really ugly.Remember, what we think and feel will somehow affect our body posture and how we look.Other can see if you`re faking your smile. So remember LOVE YOURSELF!

Body Love or Branded Stuff?

Which one will you choose if your given the choice?

Would you prefer to high self esteem and love your body or branded stuff which is of course, expensive?

Having branded stuff would make ones look good but it does not equal to having self confident or high self esteem.Take for example those with pretty faces but still have insecurities about how they look. They will also look as if the branded stuff is `wearing` you not the other way round

On the other hand having body love would mean that you have self confident or self esteem. With confident ,even clothes that are bought cheaply from night market will look good on you.It will look even better if it suit you and you personality,of course.

Hourglass figure

Those with hourglass figure should steer clear of loose tops or tunic ,as it will make you look big

Large bust

For those of you with large bust ,you will look much better in fitted tops and bodices .Avoid loose tops

Small shoulder

Girls with a slight frame a small shoulder should steer clear of vest that are cut right where your shoulder end,as they can visually engulf your petite frame. To make your shoulder look wider and more proportionate, choose a halter vest that is cut deeper inward than your normal vest

Full chest

Busty girls should stay away from vest with a neckline that is cut too high.Layering with a covered-up vest can make you appear plump-even stout. The vest is too small for you when a vest strain when they are done up,so look for a bigger size!unless you going to wear the vest open,a more flattering cut would be one with a deeper neckline.

Curvy Hips

Wearing a vest over a top may emphasise your wide hip.Even with a long loose top that cover your hips, curvier girls should stick to vest that end or slightly below your hips>for a more flattering look ,choose from a range of vests made of structured materials

Remove stain from clothes

To remove rust stain freom clothing, moisten the spot with lemon,

spinkle it with some salt and

then leave it in the sun for a few days,

What Style of Shoes is Business Casual?

By: Megan Hazel

Fridays at the office are considered business casual day. What does that exactly mean? Business is business and casual is casual so how do you combined the two styles? Friday is a dress down day so you know that business casual does not mean a suit but it does mean that you have look nice and neat but can be a little bit casual at the same time.

Let's examine what Business Casual isn't. Save the following items for your weekend or at-home wardrobe: zip-front hooded sweatshirts, team jackets, jean jackets, T-shirts with slogans, midriff-baring tops, tank tops, well-worn jeans, spandex pants, stirrup pants, overalls, biking shorts, sweat pants, mini skirts, see-through tops, halter tops, flip-flops, sneakers and sandals. Never forget that the first word in business casual is "business" and casual does not mean a day at the beach.

Business casual must always include high-quality pieces, hose or socks, appropriate underwear, footwear in good repair, coordinated accessories, clean, styled hair and makeup for women. With that in mind, let's take a look at the type of footwear is considered business casual to finish off your outfit.

Slingbacks, women's shoes with a cutout heel and a strap spanning the back of the ankle, defy simple categorization as they once did. Years ago, slingbacks were appropriate only during the summer months, and they were considered a casual shoe. Certainly, no self-respecting woman south of the Mason-Dixon Line would be caught dead in a slingback before Memorial Day or after Labor Day. Now, with a growing selection of women's slingbacks, you can find a pair for every season and every occasion-from stay-at-home clothes to wedding attire. What determines the slingback's suitability is the design of the shoe, the material, the embellishments, and whether it contributes to the overall desired look with the outfit?

You need to look at the entire spectrum of occasions, and offer suggestions for pairing slingbacks with outfits for each occasion. If you feel the shoes complement your outfit and you feel comfortable wearing them, let your personal sense of style guide you. People judge others by first impressions, and watches, handbags and shoes play an important role in first impressions. Cut corners elsewhere, but never with your shoes. Regardless of the style you wear, ensure that your shoe are in A-1 condition, with perfect sol. Casual shoes should be kept in the same tip-top, shined-up and scuff-free shape as their dressier counterparts. Do not wear 4 inch heels with a pair of dress pants and sweater. Those types of shoes look better with a dress suit or pant suit.

For men business casual shoes should definitely not include tennis shoes. There is nothing tackier than a man in dress pants with a pair of tennis shoes on. Styles range from penny loafers to lace-ups, leaving lots for comfort and budget preferences. Make sure that the heels and the fabric is clean, the leather polished, or the suede brushed. Wearing these types of shoes to finish off your business casual look will make you GQ all the way.

The old saying, "People take on the character of the costume," isn't a myth. It's because of this truth there should be more business than casual in a company's "business casual." If the male and female definitions seem too rigid, then complain to the person where the buck stops. Company owners tend to complain about the business casual attitudes that accompany casual day because they've watched them evolve over time. That is why it's important to sustain the level of business consciousness dictated by the respective company.

On the other hand, companies that demand a high stress, quick-paced level of productivity from their staff regularly may find benefits of invoking a more casual attitude once a week. Perhaps in such a case, it would allow employees to begin their weekend feeling more relaxed and come back on Monday feeling more mentally prepared for the new work week.

Whether you are in business causal or not you need to always remember that you are still doing business no matter what kind of clothes you have on. You need not be ashamed if you run into your CEO or a client visiting the office. Be comfortable but keep in the back of your mind you are still at work. Your business casual shoes can be loafers or tie up shoes, heels or flats as long as they are clean and look nice and neat. Be comfortable yet still professional. That is business casual.

10 Reasons Why Sandals Are Just Better Than Shoes Any Day

By: Scott Stadler

1. Sandals are downright fashionable. With styles that cover practically every possible reason and season, sandals never go out of style. In fact, many popular designs and styles of sandals remain lasting fashion statements year after year.

2. With sandals, foot freedom reins. Just ask any college student why they love their flip-flops. Ask a beachgoer how come they're not wearing tennis shoes. Sandals deliver an enticing balance of being almost barefoot but still having shoes on the feet. It's a lifestyle really.

3. They deliver comfort like no other. There is just something great about the way sandals tend to break in and conform to the foot - almost like they're an extension of the feet themselves. Shoes haven't quite found a way to enter this territory yet.

4. Sandals have health benefits. Many podiatrists actually recommend the wearing of supportive sandals for the healthful benefits they provide for feet. Some sandals work in the same way as custom orthotics do to really help promote foot correct posture.

5. Forget about the fungus. It's true; sandal wearers get the added foot health benefit of having cool, dry feet. This means there's no place to harbor fungus, preventing a fungal foot infection before it can ever begin to take hold.

6. Sandals are usually more affordable. Okay, this one is for the practical-minded, but when it comes down to it, sandals are generally less costly than other types of shoes. It might have something to do with the fact that less material used equals less expense or it could just all be wishful thinking.

7. Try to beat the versatility of the sandal. Poolside, at the beach, backyard, or nowhere even close - just slip 'em on and slip 'em off. It's hard to beat the versatility provided by the always fashionable footwear.

8. Promote balance with sandals. It is really no surprise that sandals have been chosen to help increase and promote balance. Practitioners of yoga have even adapted sandals with individual straps between each toe to encourage an increased sense of balance in the art of yoga.

9. They're the original footwear from history. Sandals are time tested, having stood the test of time longer than any other form of footwear. The tennis shoe has been around for decades, the boot for centuries, but the sandal has been in use for millenniums. That must speak for something.

10. Sandals show expression. Sure, all kinds of shoes can be fashion-forward. However, no other form of footwear is as conducive to showing off a fun and funky sense of style and spirit like the sandal.

Casual Walking Shoes-A Comfortable Fashion Statement

By: Megan Hazel

Quite often, most women and some men believe that comfortable shoes are not synonymous with fashion. Mephisto Shoes can prove them wrong. With almost 200 styles in their line, a shopper will actually find it difficult to choose the one they like the most! That is because Mephisto spends as much time on the look of the shoe as on the ergonomic design of it.

There are models that boast open toes, open heels, flirty straps and bright colors. Mephisto does not sacrifice appearance for comfort's sake, or comfort for appearance's sake. They know that today's savvy consumer demands both. It's clear the idea that a comfortable walking shoe must be black, box shaped and boasts no ornamentation is passé. No longer do casual shoes need to be the athletic and tennis shoes of the 80's or the bulky "earth shoes" of the 1970's. No longer must people face disappointment when discovering that their foreign-made huaraches have stretched out of shape within months

Within Mephisto's "Allrounder" line of women's shoes, a consumer has her choice of shoes with traditional laces ("fast speed" for the easiest use), Velcro strapped Mary Janes, or flip-flop versions of their comfort sandal. All are anatomically designed, made of water-repellent leathers, and provide support and shock absorption-often from mini-air bags in the soles. These styles are sporty looking and practical wearing, due to high-tech materials used for absorbing lining, padding and support systems. The foot is cushioned with every step while presenting a fashionable image.

When it comes to women's sandals and clogs, Mephisto offers the most beautiful leathers available and adheres to the concept of "less is more" with simple elegance. The lines are clean and the workmanship is evident, especially in the use of buckles, or, in a more fancy choice, rhinestones clips. Textured leather, faux animal skin and glittery textures are just a few choices in these casual walking shoes.

The men's line of casual shoes, sandals and "Allrounders" is equally impressive. Again, distracting and inexpensive-looking accoutrements are not utilized. The look is that of clean and stylish simplicity. The focus is on the finest, softest calf-skin leather for the slip-on "loafer" type of shoes. Tie-up shoes and Velcro sandals are also made in water-repellent leather and are equally handsome. Options also include flip-flop styles, open toed clogs, and European styled sandals.

Mephisto Shoes has perfected shoe engineering and has found what works best for each particular style in terms of providing maximum comfort. Their designers also know what people find attractive. Multi-hued leathers with classic inserts, bright trims on suede, contrasting stitching, faux fur trim on boots-everything a buyer could look for in a fashion shoe can be found in a Mephisto walking shoe. (There's even a special edition "Hope" shoe to benefit Breast Cancer charity, in pink, of course!) Heels and soles on sandals, casual shoes or Allarounders are an appropriate height to accommodate a multi-grip function, but not too high to detract from the shoe.

When a shopper is in the market for a pair of casual shoes, it's may be because they are interested in finding a more comfortable pair than what is currently in their closet. Or, it could be because they are considering doing a bit more walking in conjunction with a weight reduction program or perhaps a trip. That is the perfect time for finding out more about Mephisto Shoes!

After a customer can determine the type of walking surface to which the shoe will primarily be exposed, the preferences of getting it on and off, the amount of foot to be covered and the overall desired look, many models will be found to accommodate those choices. Mephisto Shoes can help a consumer determine which shoe would be best for them. Customers can be certain that each and every style has been constructed to provide the absolute best in terms of durability and comfort.

Shoes that can fit in with many types of clothing and locations are usually worn more than shoes with a distinct function, such as high heels. Lower-heeled, comfortable "walking shoes" can take their owner to sporting events as well as accommodate a little exercise themselves. They are equally impressive when worn to a company picnic as they are to a family gathering. They can be worn to picnics as well as religious services. In fact, if asked, most folks would admit they wear casual shoes much more than "dressy" shoes. With this current trend to dress down a bit even for work, people will find that it's beneficial to have better quality casual shoes than it's been in the past. The shoes will last longer and, if they are made by Mephisto, will be sure to provide years of comfort and compliments!

Tips for Maintaining Leather Shoes

By: Megan Hazel

One of the best investments you can make is on quality leather shoes. The only catch is that you must take care of those shoes religiously. A quality pair of shoes will last you a lifetime with proper care and maintenance. Also, the products you use on your leather footwear do not have to cost more than the price of the shoes. There are a number of tips to help you maintain those leather shoes so they will not only last longer, but will maintain a great look.

The first thing to remember is that two pairs of good quality leather shoes will last more than twice as long as one pair. This mathematical impossibility is nonetheless true, because by purchasing two pair of leather shoes, you can wear one pair every other day and allow the shoes to dry on a cedar shoe tree to absorb the moisture from your skin and from the leather while still holding the shoe in the correct shape. In this case, 1 + 1 = 3.

Cleaning your leather shoes is largely a matter of daily care and daily attention to any blemishes. Using all natural shoe care products allows the leather to breathe. Suggested cleaning products include those made specifically for leather, such as saddle soap. If you use saddle soap, and follow the treatment with mink oil, you will almost always have great success in keeping your footwear looking like new. These products can be found in most areas where shoe care items are found. Goop hand cleaner which can be found in most automotive supplies stores is another great product for getting the leather clean, without damaging the product. Goop is waterless and is excellent for removing oil and grease from the surface of the leather. Pine gum will help to restore your shoes when they are the victim of small nicks, scratches and cuts. This product soaks into the leather and serves as an excellent camouflage. If the color of the leather has faded, pine gum will help to restore the color and appearance.

If you often find that you are walking or working where there is a lot of moisture, you can provide some waterproofing for your leather shoes or boots. This will help to protect the footwear from salt stains, snow and from water. If shoes do get damp, store them on a shoe tree to dry, but never place the leather shoes close to direct heat such as a stove or fireplace unit. Beeswax provides excellent water-repellent properties for protecting your leather shoes from the elements. There are also waterproofing type products sold where shoe care products appear that will help protect your shoes against the elements.

Conditioning your footwear helps to maintain soft and supple leather. Preventing cracks in the surface of the leather means that less harmful agents can attack the leather. Keeping the leather soft means the shoes will fit more comfortably too. Lanolin is great for softening the leather, while emu oil restores the natural moisture of the leather by deep penetration into the shoe.

When you are cleaning and conditioning your shoes do not forget to take care of the inside of the shoe. Using Eucalyptus oil or Tea Tree oil prevents the deterioration of the stitching by fighting against mildew and mold in the interior of the shoe as well as in the top stitching.

Keep in mind that specialty leather products such as suede or patent leather have special products intended specifically for their care. For example, you would not want to use some of the oil or cream based products in caring for suede shoes. Often regular, gentle brushing to remove loose soil and a spray on suede cleaner will be just the thing for cleaning that type of leather.

If you find problems developing in the stitching or the soles of the show, or anywhere on the shoe in fact, put the cost of repairing the shoe against the cost of replace them and make a trip to the local repair shop for shoes. The price of a good repairman is well worth it in terms of lengthened shoe life.

Finally, many people have success in caring for their shoes with various household products not specifically created for leather shoes. For example, petroleum jelly rubbed gently into the leather then allowed to sit before a bit before being wiped off keeps leather uniform shoes looking great. Others swear by furniture polish sprayed on lightly and wiped down with a cloth.

The most important part of maintaining leather shoes is the daily condition, cleaning and care.

Quality Shoes-what traits to look for

By: Megan Hazel

Ben Franklin probably didn't say "show me a grumpy man and I'll show you a man with bad shoes", but he should have. They say that shoes make the man, and they're right on that one in more ways than one. Good, quality shoes do more than make you look good - they make you feel good. A pair of high quality shoes makes your feet happy, and when your feet are happy, the rest of you is in a much better frame of mind to deal with your day. Poorly made and ill-fitting shoes are at the root of many a miserable day, and here's why.

Poorly made shoes hurt more than your feet.

Your feet are your skeleton's foundation. When there's a problem with the foundation of a building, the symptoms can show up in cracks in the walls or ceilings, floors that tilt in the wrong direction - even in electrical and plumbing problems. The same is true with your body. When your shoes don't support your feet properly, your legs and hips and spine and shoulders and neck try to compensate. Taking any of those out of alignment can cause discomfort, pain and other problems.

You're far more likely to notice the discomfort of things like bunions and blisters caused by rough seams, heel pain from poor support and generally aching feet from shoes that constrict them. Between the obvious pain caused by shoes that aren't made well and the more subtle effects of poorly fit and low quality shoes, you can end up in constant low-level pain. Who can think clearly and be cheerful when their feet and their body are in pain?

How high quality shoes can help

Well-made, quality shoes like those made by Naot support your feet in a number of different ways. Naot shoes are designed to keep your feet happy. The heel cup is designed to keep your heels steady, preventing your ankles from tilting when you walk. The shank that runs from the heel to the ball of your foot gently encourages your feet to distribute your weight evenly. A roomy toe box gives your toes the room they need to move and grip the ground while you walk - even if they're not actually in contact with the ground.

The materials that go into making up your shoes also make a big difference. Real leather breathes, wicking moisture away from your feet and letting air circulate around them. That means cooler feet, less chance of infection and a lot less stinky feet.

What to look for in quality shoes

Now that you know why quality shoes are important, let's talk about how to choose a good pair of shoes that will support your feet - and your body - properly.

-First, look at the shoe.

Style may be important to your eye, but there are other things to look for. Are the seams straight and evenly stitched? Is the leather smooth and well-finished? Does the shoe LOOK well-made?

-Feel the shoe.

Take the shoe in both hands and try to twist it. It should have a little give, but not bend out of shape easily.

Try to bend the shoe in half so that the heel and toe meet. Again, it should have a little give, but you shouldn't be able to fold it. The shank of the shoe should prevent the shoe from bending beyond the ball of the foot.

Push up against the bottom of the toe of the shoe. The front of the shoe should bend easily so that your toes and the balls of your feet can do their work.

-Poke around inside the shoe.

Go on, push your hand inside the shoe and feel around. You should feel no protruding seams or rough areas. The inner surface should be comfortably padded and smooth. The tongue of the shoe should have enough padding to let you lace shoes without cutting into the top of your foot.

-Check the materials.

The uppers and lining of the shoes should be leather. Leather breathes and molds to fit your feet comfortably. You may not be able to look under the shoe's hood, so to speak, but you can ask about other materials. A steel shank is the most supportive, and leather soles will wear far better than most manmade materials.

-A few last things:

Excellent quality shoes like Naot clogs and sandals can be pricey, but it's money well-spent. Still, like anything else, shoes do show wear. You'd hate to find a pair of shoes that fit perfectly and make you feel so good - only to have to replace them in just a few years. A good quality pair of shoes will last you up to ten years - if you care for them properly. Look for shoes that can be resoled and reheeled easily. Naot shoes are among the most versatile in this respect - you can replace the entire shoe bed when needed to keep them feeling fresh, new and comfortable for years.

If you are larger than the general population then you may find yourself lumped into the category of Plus Size. Do you find it hard to find clothing off the rack? With the general population getting bigger and bigger there are more people being placed in this category. Most department stores now have complete departments for plus size people in both men's and women's clothes. There are now even stand alone stores that exist for both men and women of larger size.

Fashion designers are now beginning to focus on developing lines of clothing specifically for the plus size clothing market. Now you don't have to settle for the kind of low quality clothing that used to be sold for larger people. With the increased need for more larger size clothing these designers are coming out with clothing that is just as trendy and stylish as that of regular sized people.

The plus size fashions of today look nothing like the ones of old. Today's looks allow you to wear fashions similar to those of models and celebrities even though you are plus size. The garments come in all kinds of styles and are made for wear at work, the gym, or a night on the town. With more and more designers getting into this market you should have no problems finding anything you want.

Plus size shops as well as big and tall shops can be found locally at shopping malls, strip malls and even department stores as I mentioned above. There seem to be far more plus size stores for women than men but the big and tall variety are becoming more numerous. As a larger than normal man due to bodybuilding for many years I have a need for larger clothes than I can normally find off the rack and I tend to look for big and tall shops for my needs.

The most exciting option to me is finding the things I need at an online store especially since I am online all the time as a professional internet marketer. The largest benefit in shopping on the internet is that you have access to the largest selection of products on the planet due to the shear numbers of vendors offering products there. Another huge benefit to shopping online is that you can shop 24-7 from your own home so you don't have to get out and fight traffic and pay the high gas prices. You should be able to find anything and everything you need by using the internet for you plus size clothing needs. Remember, just because you may be larger than the general population doesn't mean that you can't dress in style.

Ladies, Look Like A Million On Any Budget!

Ladies, Look Like A Million On Any Budget!
All the flash, but without the cash. Now funk on that!
Imagine! You’ve been invited to a glitzy fund raiser where all the women will be clad in jewelry by Cartier and wearing gowns by such designers as Vera Wang and Donatella Versace. Searching aimlessly through your closet, you discover that the only item resembling a designer ensemble is the rayon pantsuit you purchased last summer.
Panic sets in, as you realize that the gala is only a week away. Certainly not enough time to ask the boss for a raise, so you can purchase a dress with the Versace insignia on the label. So you think of someone who has clothes in the $600-$1,000 range, but no one comes to mind.
Time to panic? No, not if you’re a designer bargain shopper. For less than $50 you can purchase a silk chiffon blouse, crepe, pleated slacks and accessories to die for, all at basement prices. It all depends on knowing where to shop and what to look for.
Consignment Shops: Like any business, there are good consignment shops and bad consignment shops. The good ones offer name brands for 1/3 of their original price. The clothes are in mint condition with that barely worn look. Moreover, consignment shops offer unique accessories by past and current designers, including scarves, earrings and handbags. For women who enjoy wearing unusual earrings, clip on styles are available in everything from pearls to rhinestones. Imagine the looks you’ll get when you enter a room wearing a necklace, pendant and matching earrings that was fashionable in the Roaring 20s. How Magnificent!
Thrift Stores: The merchandise found in these stores are traditionally cheaper than those found in consignment shops. They offer quality merchandise, but with less variety. Finding a silk suit by Ralph Lauren might be difficult, but if you’re fortunate to arrive at the store before 10 a.m., you might find a silk Baracini dress or denim jeans by Dolce & Gabbana.
Your Local Goodwill: While many scoff at the idea of Goodwill as a place to purchase designer clothing, they’re often surprised to discover that such stores offer a diverse selection of slacks, suits, shoes, jewelry, and lingerie. Granted, a few items maybe dated, but there’s still a lot to choose from. The geographic location also plays a key role in relation to quantity. For example, a Goodwill in Seattle generally has a larger variety of merchandise, than stores in smaller regions.
Estate Sales: Differ from garage sales in the quality of available merchandise. At estate sales, you can find one of a kind clothes and jewelry at reasonable prices. Reasonable, if your cash flow is accessible, but extravagant for money conscious realists, busy counting their pennies. At estate sales, expect to shell out a few dollars; so don’t forget your check book.
Garage Sales: Merchandise found at garage sales range from gaudy to elegant. Here, you can find anything from a silk Ann Klein blouse to a 50 cent plastic bracelet, it all depends on what you’re looking for.
Old Clothes Are Making A Comeback
Remember sheats, those tent like dresses, popular in the 60s? They are making a comeback. If you purchase a sheat from a ritzy boutique, expect to pay anywhere from $125-$300. But if you’re one of those people who don’t throw anything away, and you still have your original sheat, you can dress it up with accessories and it will look as good as the expensive ones. Of course, you may have to make a few alterations, in the event you’ve put on a few pounds.
Use Your Imagination
Searching for an outfit that no one has a duplicate of ? Impossible you say. No, not if you’re the designer. Adding buttons, letting down a hemline, or tucking in an inseam can turn an ordinary outfit into a stunning ensemble.A well known clothing connoisseur said she created a one of kind gown that was the envy of all her friends. As expected, everyone asked where she brought the dress, and she just smiled and said “Oh! This is the creation of a new designer. In fact, he’s so new, no one’s even heard of him yet,” the woman said grinning.
The gown that was being compared with the likes of a Sergio Valente design, cost a mere $5. The woman went to a vintage clothing store and purchased a gown , that the saleswoman said was created in the 1940s. The gown was gold lame with puffed sleeves, a sweetheart neckline and fitted bodice. However, one of the sleeves was partially torn. She then asked the saleslady the cost of the dress. The woman replied $2, and noted that she would deduct $1, based on the condition of the sleeves. The woman took the gown home and redesigned it to her satisfaction.
She began the transformation by removing the torn sleeve, and adding rhinestone appliques to the bodice, which she purchased for $4. And woolah, when she finished, the gown could only be described as stunningly unique.
We’ve all heard of those expensive department stores: Macy’s, Neiman-Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue, that cater to the rich and famous. Now you too can have a designer wardrobe, that would make Oprah Winfrey cringe with envy. Caviar anyone?

Choosing The Right Jeans For Your Body Type

By: Susan Banks Sr

High on the list of frustrating things people do because they feel they have to is jeans shopping. Shopping for a pair of comfortable chinos would be easier, but it would not meet that irresistible need to have a stylish well fitting pair of jeans ready to go at a moments notice.

If you are like most people, there are several pairs of jeans in your closet that almost never see the light of day. They may have looked right in the store, but at home they just don’t make the cut over the one pair in the closet that actually fits and feels just right. Just about all frustrated shoppers have thoughts on the matter of how to buy the right pair of jeans. Only a few ideas, however, are really worth considering given subtle variations of body types that a pair of jeans needs to fit.

Fit the body type
Although it is fairly simplistic to say that there are only five body types, it is the easiest way to narrow down the hundreds that could be given. Consider these groupings: short-wasted, long torso, plus-size, wide hips, slim and petite. There are of course variations in between. For a short-waste consider lower fitting hip hugger jeans. These will tend to elongate the upper body. For a long torso body type, go for a pair of jeans that has a defined waist. This goes in the opposite direction of the short waist person. Plus size people need to work with balancing the hips. To do this, look for a flare at the bottom of the leg. This will balance out the hips. Also, large pockets close together will help. A petite person should consider a straight leg pair of jeans that may be a bit baggier then normal. This will cast a taller silhouette.

Age appropriate jeans
Unless you look like Goldie Hawn when she was in her 20’s and 30’s certain areas of the body have moved and your attitude has changed. Make yourself understand that the days of the torn knee and low-rise jeans are gone. This is not necessarily a bad thing because it gives you quite a few options with regard to style and fit.

Where are you going?
The perfect fit means differing things for differing uses. Jeans at a casual party require a differing fit then if you might be wearing them on a casual Friday. Consider a stiffer leg if you are going to a function that isn’t quite a picnic but not a slack sort of function. A straight leg will work for people with a narrow waist or short legs, and if your waste isn’t quite as narrow as it once was go with darker colors. Darker colors cover up a host of body imperfections.
Casual Fridays call for a dark jean and a defined waste. Anybody can wear this type of jean no matter the body type, but if you are plus-sized or petite add the rules above. The real trick to fitting your style and body type, in this instance, is to find a pair of straight leg jeans you are comfortable with and buy two pair. Buy one pair for flats and one for heels.

When in doubt, accessorize
If you are still having a difficult time finding just that right pair of jeans to fit your body type don’t fret. As the saying goes, “when in doubt accessorize.” If your hips are still in the way, a good pair of shoes and a few frills on the blouse may help a bit (don’t go crazy on the frills though.) Try matching the jean color to some jewelry. Or, the wide ankle is always a good fall back to distract while continuing to be stylish.

Take it along
One of the biggest errors that people make when jean shopping is to not take along those items that they will have on, or with them, when they are actually wearing the jeans. If you need a defined waist or a distraction take along a belt to make sure it fits and works well with whatever else you may wear with the jeans. Afterall, if they fit well, but don’t necessarily look right, you can always make them look right.

Taking care of those that fit
When you have finally found a pair of jeans that fit and look stylish make sure that you take care of them. A good pair of jeans that fit is not something to take lightly. Always wash your jeans in cold water and if you want to go to extremes turn them inside out so that they don’t fade. Always hang dry the jeans and, if you are going to make alterations, wash them a few times first just in case they want to shrink.

The Hottest Jeans for 2008 - Jeans Deal

By: jeansdeal

The different shapes and styles of jeans for fall and winter 2008 are limitless! From high-waist to mid-rise, from wide-leg to skinny, there is a prefect jean for every shape and size. Feeling overwhelmed? Don't worry - I'll break it down for you.

High-Waists: High-waist jeans are perfect for creating a curvy, hourglass figure! They also happen to be one of the hottest looks for the fall and winter season. The high-waist usually comes up slightly higher than the belly button. The waist of the jeans accentuate and create a tiny waist, which offsets the hips to create gorgeous curves. For an extra special look, find jeans with detailing like extra-large buttons and embroidery.

Mid-Rise: The mid-rise jeans are a fusion between the extreme low rise jeans, popular in recent years, and the high-waist rise. They rise about 1 1/2 - 2 inches below the belly button. A mid-rise is perfect for hiding and "holding in" that little extra around the mid-section. The mid-rise has been said to be the cure for "muffin tops," where the love handles hang over low-rise jeans.

Wide-Leg/Trouser Jeans: The wide-leg is the freshest cut this season. This seasons response to the skinny jeans, the wide cut of the legs create a long, straight line. With its roomy legs, these jeans hide every imperfection! The straight line from top to bottom gives the appearance of a taller, slimmer you. Be sure to wear these with a slim-cut top to balance everything out!

Classic Straight Leg: The classic, straight leg jeans are back this season with a vengeance! A nice balance between a boot-cut and a skinny, straight jeans aren't just "mom jeans" anymore! Say goodbye to tapering and unflattering rises! The classic straight is good for all ages, and creates the illusion of longer, thinner legs.

Boot-cut: Boot-cut jeans are timeless, making a comeback every season. Boot-cut is a great on almost every woman because the slight flare at the bottom draws the eye downward, taking emphasis off of the hips. Purchasing a great pair of boot-cut jeans is an investment. Avoid flashy detailing to take this jean with you from season to season!

Skinny: Don't worry, ladies! Your favorite jean trend for the past few seasons is here to stay! The skinny jean is perfect for accentuating and creating gorgeous curves. Though most think that only the very thin women can pull these trendy jeans off, it's just not true! The average woman can wear skinny jeans with long, loose tops to take emphasis off of the hips. Average and plus-sized women will also find that tucking skinny jeans into boots will balance out the hips. Tip: try buying your skinny jeans a size up for extra room and comfort.

Wholesale Jeans And Hawaiian Shirts And How To Find Them

By: Gregg Hall

Jeans look really good paired with Hawaiian shirts and you could really have a great business just focusing on selling these two items of clothing alone. You could set up an online store and feature special combination deals with pictures of models wearing the outfits.

In the garment industry clothing is usually sold by the manufacturers to wholesalers and other business people by the dozen and in fairly large quantities. When you see vendors at small shops or at your local flea market this is probably how they got them. You have to buy in larger numbers to get the best prices however so for many people who are just starting they may have to accept lower profit margins to begin with.

Some makers sell their jeans wholesale in boxes or cases ranging from under ten to a couple of hundred and you can get them for both sexes as well as in kid's sizes. You will have to check with the particular wholesaler you are dealing with to see how they sell theirs and if you are able to specify cases of certain sizes, colors, etc. The great thing is that you will be able to find high end designer jeans from a reputable wholesaler, just be sure to investigate them thoroughly before you buy from them because designer jeans are known for being copied. Like counterfeit designer handbags, these are known as knock offs.

Now let's take a look at Hawaiian shirts. I live on an island in Florida so they are always in style, even in the winter. You don't have to be in a tropical area or planning a trip to Hawaii to enjoy the style. They are especially great for larger guys because they are cut large and flow and give you plenty of room. As with jeans, you can find a number of wholesale sources by looking online.

Most wholesalers of Hawaiian shirts will require you to buy in larger amounts to be able to get them at wholesale. This is no surprise as most clothing wholesalers do this. There is no reason for them to sell a handful of them at wholesale prices and many of them have their own retail stores as well.

Just like with the jean wholesalers, do your research and look them up with the BBB and be sure that they are known for high quality. Don't just go for low prices. A High quality true Hawaiian shirt will cost more but it will also result in greater customer satisfaction and repeat orders.

Buy Designer Jeans For Less at JeansDeal

By: jeansdeal

So what should you look for when searching for that perfect pair of jeans? Aside from the best possible price, here are some tips and ideas to keep in mind.

Picking the right pair.

Looking for timeless low rice, blue, women's, men's or tight jeans?

It's hard to say what will be in style a year from today, but by sticking more or less with tried and true denim styles, you can aim for and land a pair of jeans that will remain stylish for years. Here are three classic examples:

Original blue jeans: Evolving from rough and tumble work wear, these are now one of the most versatile pieces of clothing you can own.

Slightly faded blue jeans: More casual wear than anything else, these can nevertheless also look hip with a nice sports coat and shirt.

Dirty denim: These can be a faded brownish rusty color or blue dirty denim. More stylized than regular blue jeans, these are still subtle enough to stand the test of time.

Flashier colors like red are always off-limits in terms of timelessness, and you should also try to avoid black or white jeans. Black jeans often fall out of favor with the "fashionistas", and unless you're Don Johnson, there's no reason in hell to buy a white pair.

Consider when you'll be wearing them.

It goes without saying that being comfortable in your jeans is the most important thing; after all, even the best-looking pair of jeans will look odd if you're uncomfortable in them. Nevertheless, keeping in mind when and where you'll wear your jeans will make the process of choosing much easier.

If, for example, you only wear suits to work, your jeans might be reserved strictly for going out or for lounging around the house, which means you have few restrictions when selecting a look and style. If your work environment allows jeans, however, denim might be everyday wear. In that case, you might have to consider more conservative styles, as even in the most casual workplaces, subtlety goes a long way. Either way, always ensure your jeans look good with sneakers, boots or dress shoes.

The right style, the perfect fit and a few more things to look for in that ultimate pair of men's jeans. The solution is easy, go to the JeansDeal an online auctions website, and buy or sell a pair of jeans.

You can browse tons of top brand designer jeans for great prices.

Jean Clothing Fashion For TeensPosted by Epand Victor on August 17th, 2007 in

Being a long-legged moderately skinny myself, I also have some problems finding jeans. The brand I really like right now, that is a little pricey, are Levi Capital E. They have a great variety and lots of great boot cut styles, and Levi has this handy thing called Jean finder, You answer some simple questions such as how you like your jeans to fit, and what leg opening you want, and they find you jeans based off that. Another brand of jeans I am rather fond of are Hollister, mainly because they have jeans in long, and they are defiantly long. They also have a wide variety of flared jeans and boot cut.

I have seen inserts for the side seam to enlarge the waist. If the adjustment is not a lot, you can get some jean material from the fabric shop, make a wedge shape from the fabric, allowing for seams on all sides. You will need to remove the waistband in the area of the side seam, cut it so that you can add material in the band also. Open the side seam so you can sew the wedge into the seam. Add material to the waistband to extend it to fit.
The best way is to have a pair of jeans that you like the fit. Turn the ones you want to alter inside out. Lay the good ones on top of the ones that need changing. Draw around the good ones onto the others. This will give you lines to sew on that will alter the pants to fit like the good ones. You may have to remove the waistband to alter the size of the waist. Sandblasting is a very unique process. You can try bleaching but it definitely won’t look the same. Denim makers’ use highly sophisticated chemicals and special machines to sandblast jeans after they are sewn together. That is why most denim jeans are so costly.

Usually when jeans are dyed with the brown tint they make sure that it is washable without fading. Bleach may work but you risk ruining them all together. Bleach spots and splotchy areas. The best I can suggest is to take them to dry cleaners and see if they have a jean bleaching method. Otherwise just leave them as is.

You can use fabric paints and they are so nice to work with. When they are dry they are soft to the touch. You can also use acrylic paints they dry nicely as well. Before you paint over the stain, wash the jeans without softener. Then you iron the area free of wrinkles and paint your design. When the paint has cured for at least 24 hours, use a pressing cloth and iron the painting. This will seal the paint and protect it as well. When you wash the jeans, I would use cold water, as the hot will wear the painting out faster. You can put your jeans in the dryer and I would turn them inside out to protect the paint.

To make a mini skirt! Well first, you cut the legs off. Don’t cut them exactly where the legs meet incase you need to fix something. Cut a little lower. Then you trim off any uneven edges and make the skirt the same length all the way round. But you don’t have to sew anything back. Just pull a few loose threads and give it that “customized” look. Make sure you use those big tailor scissors or any tough scissors so you don’t make a mess. Cutting jeans is really hard.Article source: ContentLog.com

Plus Size Dress Apparel Essentials
Posted by Mulholland Trevor on April 29th, 2007 in

Creating a wardrobe for the full-figured working woman is easy if one knows what to look for. There are certain clothing items that should be a staple in a larger woman’s closet. When shopping for plus size dress apparel, pay attention to functionality without sacrificing style. There are a few essentials that plus size women should have in order to look sharp at work, during meetings and in all other facets of their professional life.
Boot-cut jeans are perfect on pear-shaped figures or those with body types that are heaviest in the mid-section which is the area that begins at the lower abdomen and ends in the upper thighs. Boot-cut pants go well with heels or platforms and must never be worn with flat-soled shoes. Stay away from tapered pants that only look good on model-thin figures. A pair of black dress pants is definitely a plus size dress apparel essential. This works well with a fitted suit jacket and a button-down shirt with collar. It also looks good with a sexy camisole and a cardigan set. Large women should avoid stretchy black pants with elastic waste lines and instead, select pants that are tailored to fit the body.
The little black dress is not only for thin women. Black always makes one look slender. Find a little black dress that ends just above the knee. It is alright to wear a strapless or sleeveless little black dress and accent it with a shawl or a sheer wrap. Fitted suit jackets drawn at the waist can be very flattering for the full-figured. An alternative to pants is the three-quarters, though larger women loathe wearing skirts as their thighs rob together and cause much discomfort and chafing.
Full figured women must accessorize, they should not scrimp on fashionable accessories that can improve their overall look. This is an area where fashion rules are relaxed. From shawls and scarves to jewelry, shoppers must have extra colors and textures to coordinate with wardrobe favorites. Color in accessories can detract the view away from other areas of the body. Shoes, on the other hand, can make or break an ensemble. Different colors and styles in shoes can extend the wardrobe and provide more choices. Shoes can be very expensive though so it is wise to watch out for sales and bargains.
Proper grooming spells success in combination with tasteful plus size dress apparel. Spend good money on a regular stylist, as a new haircut can do wonders to the overall impact. Acquire basic knowledge on wearing make-up. The sales people in cosmetics counters are often trained to give advice regarding the right make-up depending on skin types. Maintain clean nails by visiting nail salons periodically. Follow these tips and you might find that you can actually look a thousand times better than you have always thought you could.Article source: ContentLog.com

Women’s Apparel For All SeasonsPosted by Brown Jim on August 14th, 2007 in
Some women find that they have to go shopping for women’s apparel at least once or twice a month because their job requires them to look very professional. Free Content for BlogsDressing for work can be quite a chore when the closets are overloaded with fashions for the wrong season. Some women go shopping just so that they will stay warm at work because the changing of the seasons came earlier than expected that year.
Some women will be aware continuously throughout the year that they do not have enough warm clothes in their closets to carry them through the winter season. While they think that shopping for clothes is an adventure at times, the idea of not having the right things to wear to work can be quite frightening to some. Most women will keep track of where they stand on clothing because their job depends on it.
Some women might stress over being able to keep their closets full of the women’s apparel that they need for work. They will make an extra effort to always leave some money in the family budget that can be diverted to purchasing women’s apparel for work purposes. Other luxuries will go by the wayside in order to keep money available and only needed items will be purchased.
There are always odd items that will need to be added to the women’s apparel selections in the closet at home. Some new styling might be required that can be quickly accomplished with the addition of a new belt or new selection of fashion footwear. Buying accessories for women’s apparel sometimes stretches the budget just right without overstretching it.
Some women prefer to buy women’s apparel and accessories this way because it requires less time to buy accessories and it helps to make sure that their fashion wardrobe is current with the latest styles that will give them a competitive edge in the work place. Women’s apparel also allows a woman to add some of her own personality to the styles of clothing that is in the closet.
Some weather conditions might necessitate the need for a woman to add rarely used items of women’s apparel to their current wardrobe. This is especially true during the rainy season when women seldom use raincoats and umbrellas because they rarely go out during the day. In cold weather, it might be necessary for the woman to buy several hats to keep their body warm.Article source: ContentLog.com

How to conceal Thick thighs

Straight or boot cut for both pants and jeans conceal thick thighs.Anything too high-waisted will make the butt look bigger, along with cargo pants that have many back and side pocket. If you have nice calves, like most plus-sized women do,choose skirt ending at the knee or just below.Pick bottoms made with medium-drape and fluid fabrics like cotton jersey, polyester, chiffon or silkas they won`t cling to your body.Pump up the sexy factor with open-toed pumps or slingback.
